Week 5 – We Create
This week, we had our free days and explored different parts of Thailand. On Thursday, we reunited, reconnected, and shared our stories with Makhampom. We talked to nature and to people, drew our experiences, and invited our friends to continue our drawings.
Week 5 was full of creativity. We continued working on our peanut tree, learned how to make a gecko out of beads, and wrote thoughtful letters to our teammates.
In the community, we started painting the walls, applying primer and painting them white. We worked carefully, but also with playfulness and lightness.
Over the weekend, some of us joined an indigo workshop and brought our self-dyed fabrics back to Makhampom. Others went hiking to explore the nature around Chiang Dao.
This week, the paint on our faces and bodies was proof of our work. Sometimes getting dirty is fun when we do it all together.
