Day 6 | DESIGN
Today we moved from experiencing different youth work methods to thinking about how we can create our own activities and bring these approaches to different groups of young people.
To get inspired, participants went around Hopeland and discovered different art stations, each with its own challenges and ideas to explore.
These stations became a starting point for thinking about how creative methods can be adapted and combined to create different types of activities.
After forming groups, participants started designing activities for different ages and learning needs, thinking about who they were creating for and what could make the activity work in practice.
From the needs of the group to the way the activity is facilitated, participants had to make choices, adapt their ideas, and find ways to turn them into something others could actually experience.
Today was about turning ideas into activities that can be used with real groups of young people. Tomorrow, we will see the results of what we have been building together.
