Day 5 | OPENING UP & EXPANDING
Today we started exploring Forum Theatre and expression through creative means, such as poetry and automatic writing. All the tools we have been discovering can bring out different sides of the people we work with and be applied in youth work.
Through Forum Theatre, participants explored different situations and experimented with what could happen when someone chooses to step in and change the course of a story. There was also space for discussion and to better understand how systems can affect interactions between individuals.
Through collective writing and poetry, participants were invited to express their inner world and perform in small groups, exploring how creativity can also come from within.
Today was about opening up different possibilities, from intervening in a theatre play to using creative methods as a way to become more creative. The methods we explored can be adapted to the realities of young people to spark discussions on real-life topics.
