Week 3 – Immersion
This week in Liveloula, we experienced what it truly means to live together within an eco-community.
Facing the unpredictability of nature and the realities of communal living, we worked side by side, sharing the responsibilities of everyday life. As the days passed, we began to know one another more authentically, opening up, deepening our conversations, and sharing personal stories.
Along the way, we discovered that this journey is about more than the work we do. It’s also about how we choose to live, collaborate, and care for one another as a community.
Our experience continues to raise important questions:
• How do we balance individual needs with collective wellbeing?
• What does it truly mean to belong?
As we nurtured our relationships, we also contributed to Liveloula’s mission of regeneration. This week, we worked to enrich the soil, helping restore life to the land. Just as healthy soil creates the conditions for new growth, meaningful relationships create the conditions for communities to flourish.
By living together and continually listening, contributing, and adapting, we support one another’s growth.
Week by week, we’re learning that caring for the earth and caring for each other are part of the same journey.
