Week 1 – Arrival
Modern Odyssey Year 3 has officially begun.
We are 17 adventurers from across Europe, brought together by a shared passion for community living, solidarity, and nature. The crew is on board, the sails are up, and now we let the wind guide us into the unknown.
Before beginning our seven-week journey across Greece, we spent three days preparing as a team. Through team-building activities, games, reflection circles, and open-space evenings, we started building the foundations of our community.
Over the coming weeks, we will travel across Greece, discovering eco-communities, alternative ways of living, and sustainable initiatives. Along the way, we will learn about eco-construction, natural building techniques, community living, and the many ways people create spaces that are more connected to nature and to one another.
A huge thank you to the ROES team for welcoming us so warmly, taking care of us, and preparing delicious meals throughout our stay. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel at home from the very beginning.
Now the road is calling.
