3-4 months volunteering program covered by a youth organisation that is focused on international youth work. As a Sustainability Volunteer, you will play a key role in fostering a meaningful learning experience for young people, guiding them to engage with nature and develop a deeper appreciation for sustainability. Through hands-on activities and interactive sessions, you will help create an environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and practical learning about gardening, eco-friendly practices, and sustainable living.

• Planning and designing nature-related activities around KulturHaus, alongside a Sustainability intern (if available).
• Maintaining the garden and house, including plant care, composting, and looking after birdhouses and the beehive.
• Supporting youth exchange and training groups, especially during the ESC Team activity in May, by helping them engage in gardening and local solidarity actions.
• Bringing new ideas to make the outdoor space more welcoming and engaging.
• Collaborating with team members, including volunteers in social media, content creation, and local connections.
• Organizing small community projects in Bremen with other ESC volunteers.

• between 18-30 years old
• can communicate in English (A2-B1) OR German (A2)
• interested in gardening, hands-on work, and love both teamwork and doing your own thing
• creative and passionate about making a positive change in society
• have patience and care about helping other people grow
• an open-minded person, motivated to work in a team and with people from different religious, cultural and social backgrounds
