One year of volunteering through the European Solidarity Corps in the field of historic park and garden conservation. Organised by ijgd and initiated by the German Foundation for Monument Protection, the project combines cultural heritage preservation, environmental care, and hands-on restoration work. Activities include gardening, reconstruction of paths and water systems, historic masonry, and more. Work is mostly outdoors in the castle parks of Altdöbern, Germany.
• Promote the protection of cultural and natural heritage.
• Offer practical experience in conservation techniques.
• Encourage ecological learning and self-initiative.
• Support intercultural learning and social development.
• 18–30 years old
• Motivated to work outdoors and with manual tools
• Interested in conservation, heritage, or environmental work
• Open to learning new skills and living in international communities
