The training offers a safe and supportive learning environment where participants are invited to reflect on the beliefs, expectations, and inner critical voices that influence their personal wellbeing and professional practice. Rather than focusing on achieving more or proving themselves, participants will explore how greater self-awareness, compassion, and authenticity can strengthen both their personal lives and their work with young people.
Using experiential and non-formal learning methods, the programme combines mindfulness, self-compassion practices, bodywork, embodiment exercises, authentic communication, guided reflection, and group learning experiences. Throughout the training, participants will deepen their understanding of emotional resilience, healthy relationships, and mindful communication while developing practical approaches that can be transferred directly into their youth work practice.
The course also encourages participants to create environments where young people feel psychologically safe, accepted, and empowered to express themselves authentically. By strengthening their own emotional awareness and self-worth, participants will be better equipped to support others in developing resilience, confidence, and meaningful relationships. The international setting further enriches the learning experience by promoting intercultural dialogue, peer learning, and the exchange of diverse perspectives among participants from across Europe.
The main objective of I Am Enough is to strengthen the personal and professional capacities of youth workers by developing greater self-awareness, self-worth, and self-acceptance through experiential learning and mindfulness-based approaches. The project aims to help participants understand and work constructively with inner critical voices and limiting beliefs while cultivating healthier relationships with themselves and others.
The training seeks to equip participants with practical tools in mindfulness, self-compassion, embodiment, and authentic communication that can enhance their wellbeing and improve the quality of their work with young people. It also promotes the development of emotionally safe learning environments where young people can build resilience, express themselves authentically, and develop a stronger sense of confidence and belonging.
By fostering reflection, empathy, and meaningful human connection, the project encourages participants to integrate these approaches into their daily youth work practice, contributing to more inclusive, supportive, and human-centred educational experiences within their local communities.
The project is designed for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, educators, mentors, and other professionals who actively work with young people and wish to strengthen both their personal wellbeing and their professional practice. It is suitable for individuals aged 18 and above who are motivated to engage in a reflective and experiential learning process, explore topics related to self-worth and authentic communication, and develop practical methods that can be applied in youth work settings.
Participants should be willing to actively engage in all activities, communicate in English, contribute to group learning, and embrace an environment based on openness, trust, mutual respect, and personal growth. The training is particularly relevant for those interested in creating safer, more compassionate, and inclusive spaces for young people
