Forest Family Club Kaluzníček (www.kaluznicek.cz) was founded as one of the first outdoor nursery schools in the Czech Republic. It is located in the village of Lomnička, near Tišnov, with a train connection to Brno (27 km). The club hosts up to 18 children aged 3–7 with 2–3 educators. Activities take place mainly outdoors, in a yurt, near a stream and forest, with space for free play, creativity, and projects. Volunteers join daily routines, share their interests, and connect with a wider network of alternative education communities. Accommodation is provided in Tišnov in a shared house or flat, with a private room. Volunteers receive pocket and food money, and benefit from strong community support.
