Week 2 – The adventure continues! !Â
Gongo Village – TanzaniaÂ
This week we jumped deeper into the construction and conservation projects. We’ve been digging holes and setting wooden beams. It’s been sweaty, messy, muscles we didn’t know we had are now very aware of their existence.
We also shared a community lunch with local families, and got the chance to see and participate in the crafts Gongo mamas are making and explained the work behind them.
Still figuring things out, but at least now with blisters to prove it!
