Week 7 – Not a bye, just a baadaye
Gongo Village – Tanzania

There’s a reason why goodbyes are hard — and we’re lucky to have so many of them. As this beautiful journey comes full circle, we wrapped it up with both familiar moments and new experiences.
We visited our conservation site one last time, carved wooden spoons from scratch, and made room for a few final adventures around the village. We ended our stay in the most meaningful way: by supporting the monthly baby clinics at the dispensary.
After 45 unforgettable days, it’s time to close this chapter. Yes, it’s hard to leave. But that just means something truly special was built here.
Not a goodbye — just a see you again.
Asante sana, Gongo.
