G.A.M.E. – Games for Active and Meaningful Engagement is an Erasmus+ training course taking place from 20 to 28 February 2026 in Avala, Serbia.

The training focuses on inclusive board game design as a tool for youth participation, democratic learning, and active citizenship. Participants will explore how games can be used in youth work to motivate young people to become more active in their local communities.

The programme includes learning about inclusive design, playing and analyzing commercial games, creating and playtesting board game prototypes, and planning dissemination activities. The training is based on non-formal education methods and experiential learning.

The objective of the G.A.M.E. training course is to strengthen youth workers and young people from marginalized groups by developing inclusive board game design skills.
The project aims to support safe, innovative learning about participation and democracy through non-formal education and game-based methodologies.

The training course is open to participants aged 18+ of all genders, including youth workers and youth leaders.

Participants should be highly motivated to learn and committed to dissemination, as each participant is expected to organize at least one local workshop or presentation after the training course.
An interest in youth participation, democracy, inclusion, and non-formal education is essential.
