Individual volunteering opportunity (1–6 months) with Sansusī – an arts and culture organisation based in rural Latvia. Volunteers live and work in a remote area near Aknīste, developing their own creative ideas, supporting local cultural events, and engaging with the local community. Activities range from artistic creation to hands-on work like building and moving structures. Volunteers also learn about professional cultural event production.
• Support personal and artistic development through self-led projects
• Gain skills in communication, especially in the cultural sector
• Engage in rural community life
• Learn cultural event production and contribute to artistic events
• Encourage self-belief and teamwork
• Promote intercultural exchange and non-formal learning
• Aged 18–30
• Resident in EU or ESC partner countries (no visa required for 40 days)
• Passionate about arts and culture (contemporary dance, theatre etc.)
• Motivated to live in a rural setting
• Ready to engage in both creative and physical tasks
• Open to community life and cultural exchange
