How can we address gender-based discrimination (GBD) using Non-Formal Learning and Art? How can we support ourselves and fellow youth and youth workers on the topic?
Last Tuesday, participants of the FATE Study Visit in Poland reunited, this time in Athens, to explore these questions together!
FATE – short for From Art to Empowerment – is a Small-Scale Partnership that aims to empower both youth and youth workers by developing a non-formal education methodology that focuses on supporting mental wellbeing and inclusion of gender minorities.
On our first day in Athens, we took the time to set the foundation with a safe and welcoming environment where we can share experiences ideas, and support each other. We dived into our own experiences with discrimination regarding gender, and shared real-life stories from our work.
How can we tackle them together? Follow our daily diaries to find out!
The project is co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, allowing us to join forces with our partner organisations to create an inclusive and creative environment: Active Rainbow | Fundacja Po Prostu Da Się | Roes Cooperativa
