How can we foster an inclusive environment within organizations, away from gender-based discrimination?
After spending the previous days delving into discussions and sessions about gender-based discrimination, and observing how other organizations operate, our final day was dedicated to exploring how youth workers can take the lead in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels accepted.
We engaged in discussions about the different roles within an organization, and what is needed to break the cycle of existing power dynamics. After utilizing several good ideas for good practices, we wrapped up our day by creating our own postcards – of course, utilizing art!
These have been the chronicles of FATE – From Art To Empowerment Athens Study Visit, and we want to thank you for embarking on this journey with us! We hope we leave you more inspired and hopeful towards possible solutions against Gender-based Discrimination. Stay tuned for our next steps of this project coming soon!
The project is co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, allowing us to join forces with our partner organisations to create an inclusive and creative environment: Active Rainbow | Fundacja Po Prostu Da Się | Roes Cooperativa . We extend our heartfelt gratitude to these organizations, whose support made this program possible.
