It’s time to give back! 🌟
This holiday season, as we are wrapping up our two-year journey with Don’t Worry Be You, we’re excited to share the heartwarming stories of how we’ve come together as a community to make a positive impact:
💚 As part of our Sustainability Concept, each project partner decided to offset their carbon footprint of our project by making a donation to a cause that resonated with our mission of fostering community and environmental sustainability.
🎁 Our own gift was a generous donation to Somoud, the Palestinian Center of Athens. Somoud for us truly embodies resilience and community spirit, as they provide a safe space for Palestinians and their allies to come together, learn, share, and support one another.
🎬 Through a diverse range of activities such as workshops, talks, film screenings, food bazaars, and language classes (both Arabic and Greek!), Somoud has become a vibrant cultural hub that bridges communities in Athens. They amplify Palestinian voices and stories of resistance, fostering understanding among people from all walks of life.
