DAY 1 – CONNECTION
How can we incorporate embodiment methodology into the classrooms and our activities as youth workers? What does rhetoric have to do with supporting educators and engaging youngsters?
Today is the first day of our 3rd Format Training Course taking place in the context of the “D-MANeD” KA2 project. Aim of the project is to address the needs of primary and secondary (high school) teachers and educators working with minorities, students with fewer opportunities and rural youth, in creating innovative approaches that are more inclusive and interactive.
During this day, through getting to know each other games and team building activities, we set up a warm atmosphere among us, expressed our needs as educators and youth workers, discussed about our expectations and exchanged our ideas and experiences in the field of education, always using dance and movement as means of communication!
These are the chronicles of “Movement, Dance, Music & Rhetoric” Training Course, and we will be sharing stories and posts with you for the following 6 days.
The project is co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ program, allowing us to join forces with our partner organisations to create an inclusive and creative school environment: Center for Social Innovation – CSI | The Grammar School, Nicosia | Skills Up Training and Research Centre | Copiii in Sanul Familiei | Liceul Tehnologic “Anghel Saligny”, Bacău | Εκπαιδευτήρια Βασιλειάδη – Vasiliadis High School | Roes Cooperativa
